Reunited with loved ones after Canada-U.S. border reopened? We want to hear from you

Toronto -

With Canada-U.S. land border finally open, CTVNews.ca would like to speak to Canadians who have been reunited with their loved ones for the first time in a year and a half.

As of Nov. 8, Canadians can drive to the U.S. provided they can show proof that they are fully vaccinated. Canada had already opened its borders to fully vaccinated American travellers back in August. Both countries had agreed to close the land border for non-essential travel in March 2020, a week after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 to be a pandemic.

If you had been separated from your loved ones and would like to share your story of an emotional reunion, email us at dotcom@bellmedia.ca with your name, location and contact information, as well as some details about your situation, and we may get in touch. Your comments may be used in a CTVNews.ca story.
