Police investigate reports of fired shots in northeast Calgary

Police at the scene in the northeast Calgary neighbourhood of Saddle Ridge after reports of shots being fired on March 16, 2025.

No one was injured when shots rang out in northeast Calgary Sunday afternoon.

It happened around 3 p.m. in the zero to 100 block of Saddlelake Terrace N.E.

It’s not known if any homes in the neighbourhood were hit and police also can’t say if this was a targeted shooting.

Investigators are gathering CCTV video from the area to help determine a timeline of events.
