Lethbridge police investigate broken window at food bank

Lethbridge police are working to identify a man who caused thousands of dollars in damage to the city’s food bank facility.

At 12:20 a.m. on April 5, a group of men were caught on camera walking past the Lethbridge Food Bank in the 1000 block of 2 Avenue S.

Half an hour later, the same group returned and one of the men kicked a large window on the north side of the building, breaking it.

Police say the damage is estimated at about $2,000.

The suspect is described as a Black male, between 5’6” and 5’8”, wearing a black, long-sleeved shirt with writing across the chest and white shoes.
