For the 32nd year, music from across Canada and around the globe will echo through Victoria Park in downtown London. This summer’s edition of Sunfest will boast the largest number of performers with a total of 52 acts ready hit the various stages. Co-artistic Director Alfredo Caxaj says there will be more than 30 international groups for the first time ever. “We are looking forward to hearing from fantastic performers from Brazil and the Amazon, and Benin, Serbia that people will get to hear for the first time,” he said. The national and local acts are among the best to perform at Sunfest. “I can’t wait to hear from such wonderful performers like Ana Lia, Divka, Saveria and so many more that will round out the line-up,” added Co-artistic Director Mercedes Caxaj. “This has always been a culturally diverse music festival that puts global sounds forward for all to hear,” she said. Besides the music there will be more than 225 food and craft vendors throughout Victoria Park. This year’s festival takes place from July 9 – 12.
