Girl in hospital after being kicked by a horse

A girl was flown to the Alberta Children's Hospital by STARS after she was kicked by a horse while on a rural property near Cremona.

A four-year-old girl is in hospital in Calgary after she was kicked by a horse on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to a rural address eight kilometres north of Cremona after receiving the call.

Ground ambulance crews were able to stabilize her and she was flown to hospital by STARS.

She is in serious condition at the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
