Feds to spend $4 million helping support beef, cattle marketing in southern Alta.

The federal government is putting $4 million towards marketing beef and cattle.

The federal government is putting $4 million towards helping support two beef and cattle organizations.

The investment is through the agrimarketing program, which focuses on promoting agricultural products on the global market.

About $3.7 million will go to Canada Beef to help build awareness and demand for beef and veal, both domestically and internationally.

Approximately $300,000 will go to the Canadian Cattle Association to help strengthen key international relationships.
