Ottawa paramedics say a woman is in critical condition following a crash in rural east Ottawa on Wednesday. The crash between a pickup truck and a small SUV happened at around 4:40 p.m. on Russell Road near Leitrim Road. Paramedic spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps told CTV News Ottawa the woman driving the SUV suffered life-threatening injuries. Two children in the vehicle, both under six years old, were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The man driving the pickup truck was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
