Calgary will be chilly Tuesday, but there’s spring weather on the horizon

It will be another chilly day with wet snow on Tuesday for Calgary.

Be prepared for a cold wind gusting out of the north, and temps hovering around that freezing mark. Trace to two centimetres of snow is expected, so roads and sidewalks will be slippery again. That snowfall will likely roll into Calgary at 6 a.m. and be fairly consistent in the morning before becoming more isolated in the afternoon.

The sun will peek out and warm the city up a little on Wednesday.

Though there’s light, wet snow expected Wednesday evening, the rest of the week will feel like spring. The sun will be shining bright Thursday to Saturday and temperatures will climb into the teens.
