Police in Greater Sudbury have released a photo and the name of a second suspect wanted for murder in connection with a fatal tent fire at the Energy Court homeless encampment last month. A 41-year-old man died in the tent fire on June 11 that Sudbury police are investigating as a homicide. “The investigation has determined that several individuals were seen fleeing the two tents immediately after the fire began at approximately 3:20 a.m.,” said a police news release on July 10. “We are requesting the public’s assistance to locate 31-year-old Bryan Eshquib, who is wanted on an arrest warrant.” Eshquib is wanted on charges of first-degree murder, weapons possession and arson with disregard for human life. Anyone with information related to his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477. Already charged with murder in the case is Brandon Gramling-McEwan, 33, who was arrested June 16 on Bruce Avenue. A dedicated tip line has been established in relation to the investigation.
