The Waterloo Regional Police Service has charged a driver after a vehicle careened off the road and hit a home in Waterloo. Officers were called to the Dansbury Drive and Bridge Street West area on Friday around 1 p.m. Pictures from the crash site showed a grey-coloured vehicle on top of a dark-coloured car that was parked in a driveway. Some siding on the home also appeared to be damaged. Police said the driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. An 85-year-old Waterloo man has been charged with driving while under suspension and careless driving.
