Two-time Keswick, Ont. lottery winner overwhelmed

Paul D. got a shock when he won his first lottery back in 2019.

The 60-year-old Keswick man won more than $240,000 on a LOTTARIO jackpot after having played for 40 years.

This time, he was checking his LOTTARIO tickets on Sunday, as is his usual routine, when he realized he’d hit the jackpot again.

“When I realized I won big, I froze and stared at my phone in disbelief. It felt unreal,” Paul said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque.

“My heart was racing, my hands were shaking, and my mind was all over the place, going from disbelief to excitement,” he said.

With his $737,505 windfall, he plans to pay some bills and purchase his dream car — a Shelby GT500.

Paul said, “It feels absolutely incredible. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.”
