Police investigating sudden death near downtown Barrie

Barrie police say a man was found dead outside a home in Barrie on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say they attended the area of Maple Avenue and Ross Street around 4:30 p.m. and found a 68-year-old man deceased outside a residence.

The death is not being considered suspicious at this time, according to police.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled.
