A New Tecumseth man, 65, is facing sexual assault charges after Halton police investigated incidents of sexual assault against a teen boy. Halton Regional police said they started the investigation into the sexual assaults, which allegedly happened in Oakville in November 2025. Police said the accused was on a prior form of release for similar offences when he was arrested this time. Investigators said they are worried there could be more victims as the accused has had previous contact with children as a youth leader. The man has been charged with three counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference and failure to comply with undertaking. He is being held in police custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
