A two vehicle motor-vehicle collision (MVC) at the intersection of Highway 9 and 10 Sideroad has forced a road closure. Emergency services responded to the call shortly after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. New Tecumseth Fire Chief Dan Heydon said Highway 9 West is being rerouted onto 10 Sideroad as both westbound lanes are blocked. “New Tecumseth and King fire departments are on scene diverting traffic around the accident,” Heydon said. Paramedics have taken one person to hospital for assessment.
