Man of no-fixed-address faces multiple B&E charges in Owen Sound

After multiple break and enters in South Bruce Peninsula, an arrest has been made.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) unit arrived at 8^th Street in Owen Sound at about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

There, the ROPE team arrested a 33-year-old man of no fixed address. He now faces the following charges:

• Break and enter
• Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
• Carry firearm, weapon in a careless manner
• Mischief over $5,000
• Theft under $5,000
• Two counts of theft of a motor vehicle
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
• Fail to comply with undertaking and probation order

The accused was held for a bail hearing Tuesday before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound and has since been remanded into custody.
