Game two between Alliston and Stayner postponed, replayed on Monday

The Junior C playoff game between the Alliston Hornets and Stayner Siskins was postponed on Sunday due to bad ice but officials hope to play the game on Monday night.

Slushy ice conditions were too bad at the arena in Stayner forcing officials to stop the game with 7:48 remaining in the 3^rd period. Stayner was up 3-2 when the game was called.

Alliston officials tell CTV News since the game was not completed – under OHA rules - it has been erased from the books. The game will hopefully be made up on Monday night at 8 p.m. in Stayner - if the ice is ready.

Game three is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night in Alliston.
