How much gas went up overnight in the Maritimes

The price of gas increased overnight in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick while there was no change on Prince Edward Island.

Nova Scotia

The price of regular self-serve gasoline in the Halifax area increased by 1.5 cents. The new minimum price is 134.5 cents per litre.

The price of diesel increased for the second time this week, this time by 5.4 cents. The minimum price is now 179.4 cents per litre.

The price of regular self-serve gasoline is 136.4 cents per litre in Cape Breton and price of diesel is 181.3 cents per litre.

Prince Edward Island

The price of regular self-serve gasoline on P.E.I. did not change. The minimum price for Islanders remains 145.0 cents per litre.

Diesel prices increased by 6.4 cents. The new minimum price is 186.1 cents per litre.

New Brunswick

In New Brunswick, the price of regular self-serve gasoline increased by 1.2 cents to a maximum price of 138.1 cents per litre.

The price of diesel increased by 8.9 cents, bringing the maximum price to 185.5 cents per litre.
