Woman, teen arrested after guns found in Dauphin home: RCMP

A woman and teenage male are facing charges after the search of a Dauphin, Man., resulted in the seizure of several firearms.

RCMP began their investigation on Saturday night after receiving a report that 16-year-old male threatened a 15-year-old male with a weapon during a video chat.

As a result of the report, Mounties searched a home on Davidson Avenue West on Monday where they seized several unsafely stored guns, a prohibited magazine, a conducted energy weapon, and paraphernalia for organized crime.

A 49-year-old woman and 16-year-old were arrested and the scene and face multiple charges. They were released on undertakings with future court dates.

Police continue to investigate.
