Windsor police say a week of proactive traffic enforcement led to 270 enforcement actions across the city. The Windsor Police Service Traffic Enforcement Unit carried out targeted enforcement between Monday and Friday, focusing on dangerous driving behaviours. Among the 270 enforcements, officers laid one stunt driving charge after a driver was clocked travelling 95 kilometres per hour in a 50 km/h zone. Police also issued 12 court summonses for offences including driving without insurance and driving while suspended. In addition, six tickets were handed out for children not being properly secured in vehicles.
