Missing woman, believed to be held against her will, found safe

A missing Winnipeg woman, who police believed may have been held against her will, was found safe.

On Sunday, the Winnipeg Police Service said they were concerned for the well-being of a missing 26-year-old woman who was last seen on March 28 in the 300 block of Manitoba Avenue.

In a news release, police said they “have reason to believe she may be being held against her will.”

On Monday morning, officers announced the woman was safely located.

The woman’s name and image have been removed from the article.
