Winnipeg police arrest youth after threats allegedly made involving elementary school

Winnipeg police have charged a youth after online threats were directed at a North End elementary school.

Winnipeg police have arrested a youth after investigators say they made threats that involved a North End elementary school.

Police were told threats were made on Feb. 3 against a school in the 400 block of Flora Avenue.

Police arrested a youth on Feb. 10 without incident. Investigators did not find any physical threats at the school and said there is not currently a threat to the public.

The youth has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. They were released on an undertaking.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
