Service restored at City of Winnipeg call centres

311, the City of Winnipeg’s call centres, were down for several hours Tuesday due to an outage.

The City of Winnipeg’s three call centres are up and running again following an hours-long outage.

The city posted on its X page on Tuesday morning that the 311, Water and Waste, and Winnipeg Transit call centres were experiencing unexpected issues and are were unable to take any calls.

Later Tuesday afternoon, the city’s X page said the issue was resolved and phone lines at the centres were operational once again.

A spokesperson for the city said they still don’t know what caused the outages.
