80-year-old woman found with fatal injuries in Winnipeg apartment complex

A 74-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder after an 80-year-old woman was found with fatal injuries at a Winnipeg condo complex.

Winnipeg police are investigating after discovering an 80-year-old woman in a Dakota Crossing apartment with fatal injuries.

Police said they were called to the apartment complex in the 1200 block of St. Anne’s Road just before 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Officers found an 80-year-old woman with fatal injuries.

On Friday, police identified the victim as Gladys Bellamy.

WPS investigators said they believe the “involved parties were known to each other.”

A 74-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder.

He was detained in custody.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
