The northbound St. James Bridge will be closed for maintenance work this Sunday.

According to a city release, the bridge—stretching from Academy Road to Portage Avenue—will be closed to traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 7.

The southbound bridge will remain open during the closure.

The city urges motorists to plan ahead and consider using alternative routes like the Maryland Bridge or the William R. Clement Parkway.
