Blue Bombers unveil 2026 schedule

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will kick off its 2026 season on the road, before returning for a slew of marquee matchups on home turf.

The football club announced the team’s 2026 schedule on Tuesday.

The blue and gold begin the season in Calgary, for a June 5 matchup with the Stampeders.

They return home for a June 11 home opener against the Hamilton-Tiger Cats – the first of three Thursday night home games at Princess Audio Stadium in the 2026 season.

Winnipeg Football Club President and CEO Wade Miller said he is excited about the momentum fans will continue to bring in 2026.

“Their energy has helped the longest sellout streak in franchise history, and we’re looking forward to continuing that tradition together. This schedule gives our fans a great mix of marquee matchups and big nights under the lights, and we can’t wait to get started.”

Other highlights – five Friday night games against Toronto, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto, as well as two Saturday home dates.

The Bombers will also head to Regina to reignite the rivalry against the Grey Cup champion Roughriders for the Sept. 6 Labour Day Classic, followed by the Banjo Bowl on Sept. 12, back on home territory.

The Bombers will also host their annual Orange Shirt Game in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Sept. 25, when Winnipeg takes on the Toronto Argonauts.
