The City of Windsor has launched a Class Environmental Assessment Study Addendum to potentially widen Cabana Road East. This comes after recommendations were originally made in 2014 in the Class Environmental Assessment Study. It proposed widening the road to four lanes from Walker Road to Windsor’s city limits on the east. Since that time, Windsor has grown, leading to this study to see what improvements are needed to support future growth. The study will look at: Windsor will also get input from Indigenous communities, government review agencies, property owners, residents, and other stakeholders. Environmental, social, cultural, and economic impacts will also be looked at to ensure any future improvements are planned responsibly.
