WindsorEats is transforming its Food Hall into an open-air, European-style street market for the Sip & Thrift Vintage Night Market. It takes place on Friday, July 10, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 400 Erie Street By closing the adjacent Electric Avenue Art Alley to traffic, the event creates a fully licensed, bustling pedestrian zone. Guests can order a craft beverage from the bar and casually stroll through the alleyways hunting for treasures. “Vintage shopping is a major shift toward sustainable fashion,” says Adriano Ciotoli, co-owner of WindsorEats. “With over 80% of Canadians saying secondhand shopping makes economic sense and the global secondhand market projected to hit $393 billion by 2030, we wanted to capture that energy. Allowing people to wander through activated alleyways with a margarita in hand completely changes the retail experience.” The market provides a high-visibility platform for 20 independent curators, including Thrifting Mami, Aireloom Co., and Just Vintage, selling everything from 90s streetwear to retro home decor. The dual-entertainment lineup features acoustic favorite Andrew MacLeod (7:00 PM to 10:00 PM) and DJVODKASODA spinning house tracks (5:30 PM to 10:30 PM).
