Update coming on Gordie Howe International Bridge

Residents will be able to get an update on the Gordie Howe International Bridge project on Tuesday.

The Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority is hosting a public open house at the Ambassador Golf Club from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Bridge officials will be on hand to answer questions and explain more about the public-private partnership.

Amico Infrastructure is currently working on the Windsor side - doing site preparation for the eventual construction.

A similar meeting is scheduled to follow at Detroit's historic Fort Wayne on Wednesday.
