Red Bull Crashed Ice returning to Windsor

Registration is now open for Red Bull Crashed Ice 2014.

Male and female athletes from across the nation can register for Red Bull Crashed Ice starting Monday. The downhill ice skating event takes participants on a course filled with hair-pin turns and bug jumps.

Windsor’s qualifier takes place on Feb. 12.

Once registration closes, a lottery will be held where 200 men and 20 women will be selected to take part, per qualifying city.

The final race will take place on March 22 in Quebec City.
