Windsor police have arrested a suspect wanted in connection to a convenience store robbery. Just after 3 a.m. Monday morning, a man went into a store in the city’s west end, ‘speaking cordially’ with the employee, according to the Windsor Police Service, before he left. During his time at the store, the man reportedly said he was carrying a gun, flashing the handle of the weapon at the employee. The WPS said one hour later, the same suspect came back, wearing the same clothes, but this time, had a face covering on. He allegedly grabbed multiple cases of alcohol and left, making no attempts to pay. The employee was not hurt. Anyone with information can call the Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700 extension 4830.
