Jackson Park reopens as Bright Lights Windsor teardown is now complete

Jackson Park in Windsor is now reopening after tear down of Bright Lights Windsor has wrapped up.

With the Bright Lights Windsor fixtures now packed away for the season, the City of Windsor announced Wednesday that Jackson Park is now once again open to the public.

The pathways, parks, trails, and parking lot can welcome visitors again.

City staff will continue removing the remaining perimeter fencing as ground conditions improve and frost levels subside.
