A 20-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly killed one man and injured another in a shooting at a Winnipeg home earlier this week. According to police, officers were called to a home in the 600 block of Bannerman Avenue Monday night at 10 p.m. When officers arrived, a 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were both found shot. They were both taken to hospital in critical condition. The 23-year-old, later identified as Andrew Chartrand of Winnipeg, died from his injuries. The 21-year-old man was later upgraded to stable condition. A suspect was identified, and officers with the tactical support team and the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit made an arrest on Thursday. A 20-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated assault and multiple firearm-related offences. He has been detained in custody and the charges have not been proven in court.
