Mounties in North Vancouver are investigating after shots were fired at a home early Sunday morning. Officers were called to a home in the 900 block of Tollcross Road around 4 a.m. after the owner “reported hearing a loud bang and subsequently discovering bullet holes” according to a statement from the detachment. Although the home was occupied, no one was injured, police added. “This is an unsettling incident that understandably causes concern in the community,” North Vancouver RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mansoor Sahak said, in the statement “At this time, the motive remains under investigation and there is no known threat to public safety.” Authorities are urging anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam video to call 604-985-1311.
