Bruno Mars adds 4th show at BC Place, breaking record

Singer-songwriter Bruno Mars will be performing in Vancouver for a fourth night, breaking a record for BC Place.

The superstar is closing out his global Romantic Tour in Vancouver this October, and initially announced a single date in the city, but due to “overwhelming ticket demand” a second and third show were quickly added, followed by a fourth on Friday.

Mars will now take the stage at BC Place on Oct. 14, 16, 17 and 20.

The 16-time Grammy winner’s mini-residency sets a new record for the most shows by an artist during the same tour at BC Place.

He has now surpassed previous record holders Taylor Swift, who also finished her blockbuster Eras Tour in Vancouver in December 2024, and The Jackson 5’s 1984 tour, at three shows each.

“This is a groundbreaking moment for both our stadium and the city of Vancouver. Adding a fourth show to meet demand and surpassing a record that has stood for more than 40 years is something we’re incredibly proud of,” said Anita Sodhi-Cavezza, director of business development for BC Place, in a news release.

The only other Canadian stop on The Romantic Tour will be in Toronto, where Mars will play five shows. It will be the star’s first “full headline tour” since the 24K Magic World Tour in 2017.

The first three Vancouver dates are already sold out on Ticketmaster, and sales begin for the final show on Monday.
