Peel police say the major crime unit is investigation a shooting in Brampton late Wednesday night. It happened near Dixie Road and Lisa Street at around 9:10 p.m. Police did release any information about victims or possible suspects. In a post on social media, police said the scene will be held for “an extended period of time” as the investigation is carried out. There is “no known threat to public safety,” according to police.
