Tutor charged in Thorncliffe Park sexual assault investigation

A man has been charged in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a nine-year-old boy, Toronto police said.

Investigators say the assault occurred on the evening of Friday, Oct. 9, when the boy went to a tutoring session at a home in Thorncliffe Park.

Following an investigation, a 67-year-old Toronto man was arrested Tuesday, and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

Police said Muhammad Damani had been operating a tutoring service out of his home for the past two years. Officers believe there may be more victims.
