Toronto’s fall start to be marked with showers. Here’s when the sun will make a comeback

Summer may be over, but the warmth continues in Toronto, albeit with rain in the forecast for most of the week.

Toronto will see a high today of 25 C to mark the first full day of fall on Tuesday, with humidity making it feel closer to 28, and a 40 per cent chance of showers.

“Tuesday will offer variable skies, high humidity and the risk of late day storms,” CP24 Meteorologist Bill Coulter said. “Early evening storms ease to mainly cloudy skies tonight with a low of 17 C. (normal low for this date is 8.3 C).”

The active weather stretches into the work week with showers expected on Wednesday and until midday Thursday, with highs of 21 C and 25 C, respectively.

“Then, we see the skies calm and brighten. The weekend looks very pleasant with sunshine and seasonably warm temps,” Coulter said.

Friday will see a high of 23 C amid a sun and cloud mix. The forecast is calling for a high of 25 C on Saturday with bright sunny skies and gusty winds. On Sunday, the mercury will reach 22 C and skies will be sunny.
