Man, 25, turns himself a month after cyclist fatally struck in Milton

MILTON, Ont. -- Police say a 25-year-old man has turned himself in more than a month after a collision that claimed the life of a cyclist west of Toronto.

Investigators say an off-road vehicle struck a 32-year-old man who was cycling in Milton on July 6. The cyclist’s name has not been released.

They say the suspect turned himself in Wednesday and has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death.

He has been released and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 22.
