A semi crashed into a power pole on Circle Drive Monday night, shutting down a section of the roadway until early Tuesday morning. Saskatoon police and a crew from the fire department were called to the scene just before 8:30 p.m. on May 11, after a truck collided with a power pole near the OK Tire on Circle Drive. According to the Saskatoon Police Service, officers had traffic restricted in both directions between 1st Avenue North and Millar Avenue while crews dealt with the damaged power line. The scene was clear before rush hour Tuesday. The Saskatoon police said restrictions had been lifted by 3:30 a.m. Saskatoon police say the crash is under investigation. Hit-and-run crash tips traffic light at 22nd Street and Neault Road Traffic into the city was restricted after a hit-and-run collision with a traffic light on Tuesday, according to the City of Saskatoon. Neault Road, which connects communities north of Saskatoon to the city’s west-end commercial district, was shut down from Township Road 370 to 22nd Street after the crash. The city says the collision left the traffic light leaning over the roadway. “Crews will be working to remove the damaged traffic light and install a replacement light. Further updates will be shared when available,” the city said in a news release.
