Two people shot on Waterhen Lake First Nation, RCMP investigating

Meadow Lake RCMP is investigating a shooting that led to two people being injured on Waterhen Lake First Nation.

Officers responded to a reported shooting at a home on Waterhen around 3 a.m. Saturday, according to a news release.

RCMP found two injured adults at the scene. Both were transported to hospital with injuries described as “non-life-threatening” in nature.

Police are asking anyone who may have information or video surveillance of suspicious activity on the First Nation to contact 310-RCMP or to submit anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-TIPS (8477) or Saskatchewan Crimestoppers.
