Sask. RCMP investigating suspicious death in North Battleford 

Battleford RCMP say the death of a 36-year-old man in the North Battleford is suspicious.

Saskatchewan RCMP’s homicide investigation unit is investigating a suspicious death in North Battleford.

Officers were called to an alley behind a home on the 105th Street around 4 p.m. on April 28 after receiving a report of an injured man, Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news release.

Arriving officers found the man at the scene. He was taken to hospital by EMS where he was later pronounced dead. Police have deemed the death suspicious.

The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Tyson Mosquito of North Battleford. RCMP say his family has been notified.

RCMP are asking residents in the 105th Street area to check home security and doorbell cameras for any suspicious activity recorded between 3:40 p.m. and 4 p.m. on April 28.

Police are also asking anyone who was with Mosquito in the hours or days before his death to contact police.

RCMP say there will be an increased police presence in the area for an undetermined period of time.
