Weyburn man arrested in child luring investigation

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has charged a man in Weyburn following a months long investigation into child luring.

Investigators initially began their efforts in February of 2024.

On July 17, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Weyburn. Electronic devices were examined and seized by investigators.

As a result of the findings, police officially charged Robert Brydon, 45, with one count of luring a child on May 9.

Brydon appeared in court on the same day and was released on numerous conditions. He is due back in court on June 23.
