Regina woman dead following Highway 20 crash in Craven

One person is dead after a car and SUV collided on Highway 20 near Craven. The SUV passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Regina woman is dead following a crash in the community of Craven Monday night.

The Saskatchewan RCMP confirmed the fatality in an update provided Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as a 65-year-old woman from Regina. Her family has been notified, according to police.

On Jan. 12, at around 6:30 p.m., Lumsden RCMP learned of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 20 near Highway 641.

Police, firefighters and local EMS all responded to the scene. Investigators determined an SUV and car collided. The victim, who was a passenger of the SUV, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

Both the driver of the SUV and the driver of the car were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
