The Queen City is officially welcoming back Neuron e-scooters for their fourth year of operation. “We are delighted to re-launch in Regina as the exclusive provider. Regina is a great city, and the service is very popular with riders who have racked up nearly half a million kilometres since we first launched,” said Neuron general manager Ankush Karwal in a news release from the company. Before Thursday’s announcement, Regina residents may have already noticed the prevalence of the scooters around the city over the last few weeks – particularly around Regina’s downtown, Wascana Park, and the Warehouse District. According to Neuron, Regina riders have travelled 450,000 total kilometres since the company launched in 2023. The release stated this has helped improve the city’s mobility, air quality, and reduced congestion. In 2025, 60 per cent of trips on a Neuron e-scooter resulted in a purchase at local business with an average spend of $41 – adding an estimated $2.4 million to Regina’s economy. Neuron also says 60 per cent of trips replaced a car journey – avoiding an extra 15 tonnes of C02 emissions. Regina riders must be at least 16-year-old. The scooters are available for rent through Neuron’s app, which can be found on Google Play or the App Store.
