A 30-year-old man in Regina is facing a list of charges after allegedly breaking into a home and threatening a resident with a knife. At around 5:55 p.m. on Friday, June 26, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Robinson Street in response to a weapons call. Police were told a man had showed up at a home in the area asking for help before entering the house and threatening the resident with a knife. Officers arrived at the scene and were able to safely take the suspect into custody. No one was physically injured during the incident. The accused faces eight charges in total, including assault with a weapon, break and enter, obstructing a peace officer, failing to comply with the conditions of a release order and four counts of forcible confinement. He made a first appearance on his charges on June 29, 2026.
