Three people have been killed in a fatal single-vehicle rollover on George Gordon First Nation. Mounties say it happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday on Grid 640. Three of the vehicles occupants were pronounced dead at the scene – a 42-year-old woman and two 43-year-old men. The vehicle had two other occupants who were taken to hospital with what were described as minor injuries, according to RCMP. The families of the deceased have been notified. Punnichy RCMP are investigating the crash with help from an RCMP collision reconstructionist. As of Aug. 2. RCMP reported that there have been 53 fatal collisions with 66 total fatalities on roadways policed by the Mounties this year. George Gordon First Nation is located about 113 kilometres north of Regina.
