The Ottawa Police Service is seeking an individual wanted in connection with several jewelry store robberies that occurred this month. According to a news release from police, 50-year-old Alain Therrien is wanted in connection with three jewelry store robberies that occurred at three different shopping centres on Sept. 11, Sept. 17 and Sept. 22. Therrien is facing multiple charges, including three counts of robbery, three counts of mischief over $5,000 and one count of failing to comply with a release order. Anyone with information about Therrien’s whereabouts is asked to contact the OPS Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116.
