OPP searching for suspect after armed robbery at Pembroke gas station

Ontario Provincial Police say they responded to an armed robbery at a gas station convenience store in Pembroke early Wednesday morning.

According to a statement on social media from police, a woman armed with a knife was demanding cash at a store on Pembroke Street West near Crandall Street at approximately 2:10 a.m.

Police say there were no injuries in the incident. The woman fled on foot and was last seen heading eastbound on Pembroke Street West.

Police describe her as a white woman in her late 30s, with dark hair, a medium build and approximately 5-foot-3-inches.
