Ontario Provincial Police say a man has been charged following a string of suspicious fires in Hawkesbury. Police were called at around 8:30 a.m. Sunday on reports of four fires in the municipality and surrounding area. OPP confirm the fires were all set outdoors and no one was injured. The accused, a 37-year-old man from Alfred and Plantagenet, is facing a list of charges: The man remains in custody and was scheduled to appear in court in L’Orignal on Monday.
