A Kanata resident plans to pay some bills, purchase a new home and take a trip after becoming the capital’s newest millionaire. Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. says Jihee J. won the $2 million top prize in the Ontario 49 draw on June 13. Jihee received an email from OLG informing her of the win. “I knew I won something, but I didn’t realize how much,” Jihee said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings. “At first, I thought it was maybe a few dollars or a Free Play, but when I logged into my OLG.ca account, I saw I won $2 million! I didn’t believe it at first and thought I was reading it wrong.” The winning ticket was purchased on the OLG website.
